I try not to leave the house without my Camera - If I do I always see 'the best picture ever' of course. The photographs that I take are usually spontaneous; just a little moment here and there. Living here in Edinburgh, Scotland I am in a wonderfully colourful part of the country with so many interesting 'bits' to photograph then if I travel north I am immersed in the drama of the Highlands mountains, south there are the lovely landscape of the Scottish borders, the windswept beauty of the Northumbrian coastline and of course the most picturesque Lakes of Cumbria. We really do live on a fabulously varied and interesting island, we just need to stop and look up, down and all around us more often.
