..it's really just a collection of photographs that I have taken over the past few years..I cannot call myself a photographer in the 'real' sense of the word as I have no qualifications in the medium, just an enthusiasm to record all around me.

Moving to Edinburgh in 2006 from Cornwall- where I was born and have lived for most of my life- I found lots of new visual delights, always the best time for me to photograph is when it is fresh and novel and those moments are where most of my shots have come from.

In 2001, I went 'travelling'...the thing to do for students these days, I was 37 and going through one of those transitional stages in life...some may call them a midlife crisis....but I think that it is the aftermath or the healing stage of a crisis, it is the time where you are taking action and changing whats not right in your life.....so there are a few pictures from my travels. Actually I'm hooked now and after the first trip which was for a year and took me to fascinating places like New Zealand, India and Nepal, on a whim I bought a bike in Kathmandu and cycled back from Italy through Corsica and France to the UK. Then, 18 months later, I was on the road again, this time by bicycle around S.E.Asia and New Zealand , then it was back to Nepal before coming home and moving to Scotland...phew... but this is only the beginning...
